Over 2 years in design, the Onza Jackpot has finally been delivered. Designed for an aggressive trail rider that wants an all-rounder. Let's face it, you have to get up to get down.
The chrome-moly used is Onza's "Flawless" 4130. Onza did not take the task lightly of starting from the front of the bike you will find we have used a very pronounced tapered head tube. Going against the grain we felt that the main benefits of this was that you really could get the front end slammed. Giving it a unique and distinctive look, all topped off with brazing on the distinctive Onza "O".
Finding a frame maker that met our premium standards, snake skin welds and super light tubing are key elements when producing a frame of this calibre. The Jackpot has undergone electrodeposition which helps eliminate the frame rusting from the inside out. A simple must when you have internal routing for a stealth dropper seat post.
We've supplied the frames with rubber grommets to keep your cabling neat and tidy and blanks if you decide to take them out. Moving down towards the BB area you will find us opting for a PF30 bottom bracket. The reason for this is we will be introducing an eccentric PFBB allowing you to convert any of our Jackpot or Payoff frames into a single speed rig via our dream build programme.
Just past the BB we have produced a super responsive and stiff 1 piece yoke. This really gives the bike its identity while riding it. Steel can be lovely to ride with its playful "give" but it can also lose some of its response. The 1 piece yoke eliminates this negative and gets the most out of every down stroke. CNC machined bolt thru 12mm rear drop outs complete the frame, supporting the forged yoke at the BB via snaked forged stays.
