We firmly believe in and invest in the independent bike retailer. So for peace of mind, great value, and quality products please take a look.

Nigel Moore

Managing Director

Moore Large.

Based in the heart of the midlands, Moore Large supplies and distributes bicycles and bicycle accessories, representing a diverse portfolio of brands across all cycling disciplines. We have a strong family heritage, and despite exponential growth over the past five decades, we stand by our promise from day one - to support the independent bike shop.

The Moore family have been selling bicycles since 1947 when John H Moore, father of John Moore, opened his first bike shop in Rickmansworth. From the outset, the ambition was to supply bicycles across all spectrums with a principal focus on exceptional customer service and great value. This remains as true today as it did then.

In 2022, after three generations and 75 years of Moore family involvement in the business, the current directors, Adam Garner, Adam Biggs, Dale Vanderplank, and Andy Walker, completed a multi-million-pound management buyout. The new board and new co-owners combine 50 years of cycling industry experience. They have already embarked on a business-wide revision of our systems and processes to achieve ambitious growth goals that align with the requirements of our customers, their end customers, and the cycling industry as a whole.

Based in our 215000 sq. ft. facility in Derby, UK, we're home to some of the most recognised brands in cycling globally, including Oneal, Lake, Tern, WeThePeople, e*thirteen, Alpina, Kenda, Jagwire, and many more. These brands sit alongside our house brands, Forme bikes, and Everything to Cycling, which offer a comprehensive range of bikes, accessories and clothing for cyclists of all abilities.
